Behind the Lens: Photographing Kiranjot’s Journey with Kundalini Yoga in Goa

Published in The Guardian – “A Moment That Changed Me” by Laura Jones/Kiranjot Kaur, a kundalini yoga teacher whose path to healing and transformation through kundalini yoga has inspired many. For the past two years, I’ve had the joy of photographing Kiranjot during her retreats at Ashiyana, a beautiful yoga retreat centre nestled on the Mandrem river in Goa. There’s something very special about capturing someone not just doing what they love, but being who they truly are — and I feel lucky to have captured it through my lens.

I’m so grateful to Kiranjot for inviting me to photograph her reatreat, and to The Guardian for including my work alongside such a powerful story. You can read the full article here.
And if you’re curious about Kiranjot’s work or upcoming retreats, you can find also her on instagram.
